Ace Bar in UE5.5
I also created a reference sheet and separate different props into 3 groups so I can prioritize the props and material and do the planning to make them.

I created the Master Material so I can have more control on my material from values, color, brightness, and tiling.

in addition, I made all the props separately and imported them in UE so I can use them in a modular fashion and I was very careful on naming convention and directory so I can find the props and material when I needed to.

Ace Bar in UE5.5

The Ace Bar project provided a unique opportunity to challenge myself and grow as a 3D environment artist. The concept offered a rich level of detail, from spatial design and prop usage to material development, allowing me to push my skills further. While the concept itself was excellent, its areas of ambiguity made the project even more engaging, as I had to problem-solve and make creative decisions.

Lighting and materials were key elements in this project, significantly contributing to the final atmosphere and creating an appealing scene that I’m proud of. For this project, I explored a top-down playstyle in Unreal Engine, designing an environment that supports player movement and interaction across various areas of the scene. This required careful camera adjustments to ensure an optimal view of the environment while maintaining smooth navigation for the player.

The character model, sourced from the Unreal Engine Marketplace, was used as a reference to enhance the scene's functionality. Special thanks to Paolina Sie for allowing me to bring her inspiring concept art to life in this project.
